LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama Athletic Department and Adidas have agreed to extend its sports apparel and footwear deal through June 2020, according to an announcement today by UWA Athletic Director Stan Williamson.

In addition to the continued partnership with Adidas, former Tiger football player and Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler also teamed up with Adidas for a $10,000 gift which assisted in the purchase of the football team's new uniforms for the 2015 season.

"UWA Athletics is proud to continue its partnership with Adidas, providing the best quality shoes and apparel for UWA student-athletes," Williamson said. "Adidas is internationally known as one of the top shoe and apparel providers for athletes of all sports.

"This agreement with Adidas and Pro Sports Team Outfitters helps provide UWA student-athletes with outstanding quality within a Division II level budget."
Williamson noted that one of the most exciting aspects of the new deal, which will be managed for Adidas by Pro Sports Management in Atlanta, is the addition of a new West Alabama Adidas Spirit Online Store where Tiger fans can purchase the same gear that West Alabama players and coaches wear.

The UWA Spirit Store is scheduled to open for business on Oct. 2. Information to access the Spirit Store will be available at that time.

A sampling of items available for Tiger fans to purchase include full and quarter zip jackets, Tech Fleece full and quarter zip jackets, CLIMALITE Shockwave polos, full button polos, CLIMALITE pants, ShockEnergy Transition jackets. Structured and slouch caps will also be available for purchase.

All items are emblazoned with the UWA athletic logos and come in red, white, black, khaki or gray depending on the item.
