Elton Reece was a three-year letterman in basketball and two-year letterman in baseball while at UWA. He played on Conference Championship teams in both sports and was named NAIA All-American in baseball in 1971. He also helped lead the baseball team to the NAIA World Series in 1970 with a .425 batting average.
