Jeff Campbell, a native of Gordo, Ala., was a four-year letterman on the UWA baseball team. He helped lead the Tigers to four consecutive Alabama Collegiate Conference Championships and finished his career with a remarkable 28-4 record on the mound. He threw four no-hitters, including one perfect game in his career and was the pitcher when UWA downed Alabama 7-2 for its first win ever over a Division I opponent.
