Stan Narewski, a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a 1971 graduate of Livingston University was an All ACC and All NAIA District performer in Track and Field.  He holds the school record in the 220 yard dash, posting times of 21.2 at the Mississippi College Invitational and 21.9 at the ACC Championships.  Stan also ran post collegiately on several nationally ranked sprint relay teams.

Narewski was the President of the Student Government his senior year and was the recipient of The Outstanding Male Senior Award in 1971, presented by the SGA.

After graduation, Stan coached track and field at the collegiate level for thirty four years in the SEC, Big 8, ACC and in Junior College.  During this time he received thirty one Coach of the Year awards including four National Coach of the Year awards.  In 1984 he was named NCAA Cross Country Coach of the year.  His athletes garnered over 300 All American Awards.  In 2009 he was inducted into the NJCAA Track and Field Hall of Fame.
