Will Cotchery played basketball at UWA from 1979-83. In his four years, he led the Tigers to an overall record of 71-40. He was named GSC “Player of the Year” in 1982 after leading UWA to a GSC Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs. For his career, Cotchery had 1,452 points, 597 assists, 185 steals and played in 110 games. He served as an assistant coach at UWA, Jackson State, Southern University, and Miles College. He has also served as head coach at Miles College.
