LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama first baseman
Anna Shartzer is among eight players from the Gulf South Conference to be named to the Daktronics All-South Region Softball First Team. Sports information directors in the South Region made the selections.
As a First Team selection, the junior from Gulf Shores, Ala., is eligible to be named to the Daktronics All-America team.
Shartzer led West Alabama hitters and is eighth in the GSC in hitting with a .380 batting average. She finished the season with 16 doubles, three home runs and 28 runs batted in.
