Nicki Gears recorded the first hat trick in school history with three goals in the 5-0 win over Tennessee Temple. All three goals came on consecutive shots. Her lone assist came on a ball that was set for her to score her fourth goal, but she laid it up for her teammate Natalie Perry. Gears stands as the team leader in goals with three and is tied for second on the team in assists.
