Senior Casey Byrnes totaled 85 digs in 13 games played this week, with an average of 6.5 digs per game. Perhaps her best performance came in two crucial GSC matches with West Georgia and Valdosta State. In those contests, Byrnes was at her best with a total of 48 digs over the weekend, including  27 digs against VSU in a tight four-game affair. With an 11-3 record, Byrnes has helped lead her team to its best start since the 2007 18-0 season.
