Matt Willis earns his second career GSC Offensive Player of the Week award after amassing a game-high 127 yards on 37 carries for a 3.4 per carry average and two touchdowns. The Collins, Miss., native tied the score, 7-7, at 8:57 in the first quarter via a four-yard run and then gave the Tigers a 14-13 edge at 9:51 in the third frame on a one-yard jaunt. Willis became just the second UWA player to rush for over 1,000 yards in a season. His 37 attempts were the fourth-most in a game in GSC history and he ran 100-yard game rushing streak to six.
