West Alabama first baseman D.J. Turo paced the Tigers this weekend as the UWA baseball team picked up its second-straight Gulf South Conference series win. The junior hit .583 in three games against the Chargers with seven hits in 12 at bats. Turo went 4-for-4 in Saturday’s 5-0 victory, hitting three singles and a double.
