West Alabama's Stephanie Shoup was named to the 2012 Gulf South Conference All-Tournament Team following the Tigers' performance in the conference tournament over the weekend. Shoup, the lone UWA player on the list, was one of nine to be named to the all-tournament team. Shoup posted a team-best .538 batting average while going 7-for-13 at the plate with three extra base hits. The junior recorded a hit in all four games, including a pair of doubles and a homerun. The homer marked the sixth on the campaign for The Oviedo, Fla., native.
