Brown, a junior from Fyffe, Ala., went 5-for-5 and drove in 10 runs in the first game of a doubeheader against Miles. Her five hits included two doubles and triple and two home runs, one her second grand slam of the season. She was 2-for-3 with a homer, her fifth of the year, and two more RBI in the nightcap. Brown set UWA and Gulf South Conference records for total bases in a game with 15 in the opener. She now owns the UWA record for RBI in a single game with 10 and tied the school record for hits in a game with five. She was one RBI short of the GSC record for RBI in a single game.
