Nicki Gears posted two goals against an undefeated North Alabama team on her way to being named GSC women;s soccer player of the week. Her first goal of the season came on a set piece from 25 yards out. Gears added a third goal in the 54' of the Montevallo game on Friday. Her goal proved to be the game-winner, marking her second game-winning goal of the WEEK. She also picked up an assist for the Tiger's first goal against the Falcons in the 22'.
