Javae Swindle was among nine University of West Alabama football players named to the 2013 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-Super Region Two team, one of two on the first team. Swindle, a sophomore from Jemison (Ala.) High School, was selected to the first team as a running back after leading the Gulf South Conference in total rushing yards (1,296), rushing yards per game (117.8), yards per carry (8.9) and rushing touchdowns (12).
