Thibault Charmey, a native of Paris, France, is the first UWA men's soccer player to earn Player of the Year honors two times. The award adds to a lengthy list of credentials already earned by the midfielder this season. A 2014 Preseason All-GSC honoree and GSC Player of the week, Charmey has been named to the All-GSC First Team twice, preseason team twice and received the weekly honor a total of five times in his career. Charmey closed the regular season as the GSC's leading scorer with his season high of12 goals, ranked 20th in the NCAA. He is 18th in the nation with 1.86 goals per game. Entering the post season, he is the program's leading scorer with 28 career goals and leads with15 career assists; five this season. A master of set pieces, he tallied UWA's first hat-trick against Mississippi College on Sept. 28, by scoring on a corner kick, free kick and penalty kick.
