For the second week in a row a University of West Alabama men's soccer student-athlete has earned conference weekly honors. Senior defender Alex Brown was named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week.

Brown, a native of Essex, England, scored three goals in two matches out of the defensive backfield this past week. He scored the game-winning goal against Delta State in the 60th minute and added two more scores, including the game-clinching score versus Mississippi College. The two game-winning goals match his single season career best.
