Victor Onyango outran the entire field, including NCAA Division I participants, to lead West Alabama to a third place finish in the Non-Division I Division of the 2015 Watson Ford Inviational Friday at Choctaw Trails.

Onyango navigated the 8000-meter course in 25:55.85, sneaking past Laban Kandie of Wiley who came in at 25:56.09. The top Division I time was turned in by Clayton O’Callaghan of New Orleans at 27:21.53.
