Crossing the finish line ahead of the remainder of the field for the second consecutive race, Cecelia David led the West Alabama women's cross country team to a first place finish in the Non-Division I Women's Division of the Watson Ford Inviational Friday at Choctaw Trails.

David, the defending Gulf South Conference individual champion, navigated the 6000-meter course in 23:38.91. David's time would have also won the Division I competition.
