Tiger Soccer Welcomes Columbus State for Wednesday Match

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Returning home after a trip to the state of Georgia this past weekend, the University of West Alabama women's soccer team (2-2) welcomes Columbus State into Tiger Stadium Wednesday evening for the club's second home contest of the year. Kickoff between the Tigers and Columbus State is slated for 7 p.m.

UWA enters the match after splitting a pair of contests between Georgia Southwestern and Clayton State this past weekend. Coach Graeme Orr's squad blanked the Hurricanes on Friday by a score of 2-0, before CSU defeated the Tigers, 4-0, on Sunday.

So far this season, the Tigers have totaled 21 shots on goal, while three players have had four shot attempts a piece. Meanwhile, defender Giselle Rios leads the team with 360 minutes played through four matches.

Following the mid-week encounter with Columbus State, UWA faces off with Tennessee Temple on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
