Tigers Rained Out in GSC Tennis

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Gulf South Conference Tennis Tournament Championship semi-final matches at Lagoon Park were rained out Friday and will now be played Saturday morning.

West Alabama, ranked No. 25 in the nation, will play 13th-ranked Valdosta State in one semi-final match Saturday at 9 a.m. The other semi-final match features West Florida and Delta State, also at 9 a.m. The winners of those matches will meet for the GSC title two hours following the conclusion of the last semi-final match.
 
West Alabama is 22-1 on the season and riding a 17-match winning streak.The Tigers defeated the Blazers, 5-4, during the final week of the regular season.
