Tigers Win Exhibition Women’s Basketball, 67-59

HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Ariel Wilson and Catherine Taylor combined for 31 points as West Alabama defeated Wallace-Hanceville in a college women's basketball exhibition game Monday at Tom Drake Coliseum.

The exhibition was the second of three for the Tigers, who will travel to Troy to close out the preseason on Friday before opening the regular season Sunday at 3 p.m. against Spring Hill.

Wilson scored 17 points and collected five rebounds. Taylor chipped in 14 points and a team-leading six rebounds. Peyton Parker and Brianna Davidson both had five rebounds.

Janese Houston scored 13 points and Kelsey Richardson 12 to lead Wallace-Hanceville.
