UWF Defeats Tigers in GSC Tennis Semi-Final

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Top-seeded West Florida advanced to the finals of the Gulf South Conference Men's Tennis Championships by eliminating West Alabama, 5-0, in semi-final action Saturday at Lagoon Park.
 
Ranked second nationally, West Florida improved to 22-3 and further cemented their No. 1 NCAA South Region ranking. The Argos will meet Valdosta State in the finals Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Lagoon Park.
 
West Alabama, ranked 10th regionally, likely ends its season with a 9-6 record.
