Florida Southern Posts 8-1 Win Over UWA in Men’s Tennis

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Florida Southern won every match except #3 doubles to score an 8-1 men's college tennis win over West Alabama Saturday at the Vaughan Tennis Center.
 
The victory improved Florida Southern to 2-2. West Alabama is 3-2.
 
The Moccasins scored five straight-set singles victories after beginning the day taking two of three doubles matches. Prabh Bal and Caspar Schuetze scored an 8-2 win over Derek Bell and Oscar Soderlund for UWA's only win.
 
West Alabama returns to Gulf South Conference action Wednesday at Mississippi College. Florida Southern completes its three-game road swing against GSC teams at Mississippi College on Sunday.
