Birmingham, Ala. - The 2016 Men's Gulf South Conference Tennis Tournament gets underway Thursday in Montgomery, Alabama, with the Tigers coming in as the No. 4 seed.
West Florida (9-0 GSC), will again enter the GSC Tournament as the top seed. The Argonauts closed out the regular season having won its last 49-consecutive conference matches. UWF will seek its 13th all-time conference tournament title.
Joining West Florida in the tournament field are No. 2 Valdosta State, No. 3 North Alabama, No. 4 West Alabama, No. 5 Shorter, No. 6 Lee, No. 7 Delta State and No. 8 Alabama Huntsville.
The conference tournament will be held in Montgomery, Ala., at the O'Connor Tennis Center at Lagoon Park, on Thursday, April 14 and run through Saturday, April 16, with Sunday, April 17, reserved as a weather makeup day.
