Tigers Handle Tuskegee in Men’s Tennis, 9-0

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The West Alabama men's tennis team earned its first victory of the season Tuesday, defeating Tuskegee, 9-0, at the Pepsico Tennis Courts.

West Alabama improved to 1-2 with the win. Tuskegee is 0-2.

"I was impressed with our approach to this match and our focus from start to finish by every player in singles and each doubles team," UWA coach Jeff Beaman said. "We are looking forward to finally playing a regular season match at home Thursday."

West Alabama is host to Alcorn State on Thursday. Match time is 2 p.m. Tuskegee is host to Texas State on Saturday.
