Pizza and Prizes Offered, Free Entry with Student ID for Women’s Soccer Match

LIVINGSTON, Ala.– The University of West Alabama and the Women's Soccer Team are pulling out all of the stops to fill Tiger Stadium for the Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Championship Quarterfinal match against Valdosta State Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Thanks to the UWA Student Government Association, students will now be able to get in free with a valid student ID Tiger Card. General Admission to the match is $5.

Students will also be able to swipe their Tiger Cards at the entrance to be entered for a chance to win one of two $100 gift cards to Barnes and Nobles. The draw for the prize will take place after the contest and the student must be present to win.

The team will be giving away free t-shirts and will provide free pizza at halftime.

UWA finished the regular season 11-5-1 overall and 9-4 in the GSC. The nine conference wins this season are a program record.

VSU enters 11-6 and 9-4 in the conference after suffering a loss to Lee earlier today to determine who would be the third seed in the tournament.
