Rain Forces Shift in UWA Softball Series vs. Lee

LIVINGSTON, Ala.– If you're reading this in any part of southeastern United States, this will come as no surprise as the scheduled weekend Gulf South Conference Softball series between the West Alabama Tigers and the Lee Lady Flames has been shifted due to wet field conditions brought on by the rain.

UWA and Lee will now meet in a single game Sunday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. in the UWA Softball Complex in Livingston, Alabama and for a doubleheader on Monday, Feb. 25 starting at 1 p.m.

Rain forced the second schedule change of the week for the Tigers as UWA was scheduled to face Spring Hill College today in Mobile, but the doubleheader there was moved to April 17 thanks to the wet weather.

The Tigers enter the weekend 7-7 overall and 1-2 in league play while Lee comes in 7-8 and 1-2 in the GSC.
