UWA Men Cruise Past Montevallo, 7-0

LIVINGSTON, Alabama – The 16th-ranked University of West Alabama men's tennis team had little trouble disposing of Montevallo in a Gulf South Conference match Wednesday at the Vaughan Tennis Complex.
 
The Tigers are 6-5 overall and 2-2 in league play. Montevallo is 3-5 and 2-2.
 
Ilari Vesanen, Patricio Nieto, Nuutti Jokinen and Anton Lof all won in straight sets as the Tigers swept the six singles matches. The Tigers won two of three in doubles to earn that point as well.
 
The Tigers next scheduled match, a March 16 neutral site affair against No. 10 Lynn in Columbus, Georgia, has been postponed to a date yet to be determined. UWA's next match is not until March 27 against Southern Arkansas in Pensacola, Florida.
