Clinton, Miss.- West Alabama women's soccer team travels to Clinton to compete against Group A No. 1 Mississippi College in semifinals for the GSC Spring Championship Series.
The match is set for Sunday at Clinton Arrow Stadium on the campus of Clinton High School. Kickoff against the Choctaws starts at 1 p.m.
West Alabama and Mississippi College have already met once this spring season on March 5. A late goal for the Choctaws pushed MC over the Tigers, 2-1.
UWA is led by Anele Komani with four goals and two assists for 10 points. She has 22 shots and 13 on target with one game winner.
Following Komani is Megan Ongteco with three goals and Paige Laidler with two.
Between the posts, Tabitha Weldon has played all 668:16 minutes, allowing seven goals for a 0.94 goals against average. She has 22 saves and is 4-2-1on the year with three shutouts.
The Choctaws finished first in Group A by ending the regular season 5-0 both overall and in GSC play.
MC received a bye for the first round of the GSC Championship Series and defeated Alabama Huntsville in quarterfinals to advance them to semifinals.

The winner of Saturday's match will advance to the GSC Spring Championship match and will face the winner of Group A No. 2 Delta State vs. Group B No. 1 Seed Lee on April 3 at John Hunt Park in Huntsville.
