Women’s Soccer Opens Up GSC Play on the Road

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama women's soccer team will be traveling to Mobile to open up Gulf South Conference play against Spring Hill Friday, Sept. 17. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

The match will be played at Herndon Sage Park due to unsafe pitch conditions on the campus of SHC. The address to Herndon Sage Park is 2900 Dauphin St, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

According to shcbadgers.com, SHC is requiring that fans purchase tickets for all events through Hometown Ticketing in advance. If spectators arrive at the gate without tickets, Spring Hill's faculty will ask them to purchase tickets on their phones. General admission is $7.

Live stats will be available for the match; however, due to change in facilities, live streaming will not be available at this time.

After Friday's match, the Tigers will head to Pensacola to close out the two-match weekend series against West Florida Sunday, Sept. 19. Kickoff is for 4:30 p.m. at the UWF Soccer Complex.

Heading into the weekend, UWA is 2-0-1 overall. Spring Hill is 0-4 overall, while West Florida starts the weekend off with a 4-0 overall record.
