Women's Hoops Hit the Road for AUM Game

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team heads to Momtgomery, Ala. to battle Auburn Montgomery in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Monday, Jan. 24. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at AUM Athletics Complex.

Heading into the game, the Tigers are 11-5 on the season and 5-3 in GSC play.

Bria Dent leads the Tigers offense, 15.1 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game. The Birmingham, Ala. native is also leading in steals with 35.

Tazsa Garrett-Hammett is also averaging 14.8 points per game. The LaGrange, Ga. native is averaging 5.8 rebounds per game.

Jala Williams leads UWA in assists per game with 4.8, ranking her second in the conference.

AUM enters the game with a 5-8 overall record and are 0-7 in GSC play.

The Warhawks are led offensively by Catlin Carter who averages 14.1 points per game. Demaurea Moore averages 4.9 rebounds per game.
