Women’s Basketball Heads to AUM on Saturday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team is set to face Auburn Montgomery on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. inside AUM Athletics Complex.

The Tigers enter the game with a 3-1 overall record and are 1-0 in GSC play. The Warhawks are 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

This is the seventh meeting between the two teams. UWA leads the series 5-1. In the latest matchup, the Tigers defeated the Warhawks 60-50 in January 2022.

Bria Dent leads the Tigers' offense with 19.8 points per game and 14.3 rebounds per game. Jala Williams is averaging 13.8 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, and five rebounds per game. Maryanne Logsdon averages 12 points per game and four rebounds per game.

Jamya Tyus leads the Warhawks with 14.8 points per game and four rebounds per game. Jeremiah Moore averages 7.3 rebounds per game.
