Men’s Tennis Earns GSC Win at Shorter

ROME, Ga – The UWA men's tennis team swept Shorter 7-0 in a Gulf South Conference match at the Walt Attaway Tennis Complex in Rome, Ga Tuesday afternoon. 
 
"I am proud of our team today, we had a lot of players play and got some good experience," head tennis coach Jeff Beaman said. 
 
West Alabama improves to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in GSC play. Shorter falls to 0-2 overall this season. 
 
UWA's men won all singles and doubles matches to get the win against Shorter.
 
The Tigers will be back on the courts on Thursday, February 17 at Alabama State. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
