LIVINGSTON, Ala – The West Alabama tennis teams will open the regular season against Mississippi College on Tuesday at the MC Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 PM.  
 

Both UWA tennis teams have played three exhibition matches leading up to Tuesday's GSC matchup.  


MC has played one match against Blue Mountain. The Choctaws were defeated 3-4. The Lady Choctaws won 7-0. 

The Tiger Women enter the season ranked No. 5 in the country, while the men's team sits at No. 25 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. To view the full rankings click HERE. 

The UWA women's team is coming off of a successful 2021 season winning the 2021 GSC Regular Season and Tournament Championships. The Tiger men finished with a 5-4 GSC record.  

The Choctaw's finished the 2021 season with a 2-13 overall record. The Lady Choctaws finished last season with a 9-7 overall record.  

The weather for Clinton, Miss. will be around 59 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze at first serve.
