Men's Tennis to Host Montevallo

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – No. 35 ranked West Alabama men's tennis is set to take on No. 66 Montevallo at the Vaughan Tennis Complex on Saturday, with the first serve scheduled for 1 p.m. in the final match of the regular season.  
 
UWA enters the match with an 8-9 overall record and is 5-3 in GSC play. The Falcons are 7-10 and 4-4. Both teams have qualified for the GSC Championships, with a win the Tigers would lock up the No. 4 seed in the championships.
 
Loic Danze is 12-2 in his singles matches and has won four straight GSC matches. Nuutti Jokinen is 9-6 in his singles matches.
 
The UWA doubles team of Lucas Hammond and Marcel Hornung have an 8-3 record this season with all matches being played No. 1 doubles.
 
Montevallo's David Tanguy and Gavin Salton both have 5-4 records in GSC singles.

Saturday's forecast calls sunny skies and the high is expected to be 81 degrees.
