Tigers Back in Pruitt Hall on Wednesday

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama women's basketball team faces Auburn Montgomery in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. in Pruitt Hall Gymnasium. 
 
The Tigers enter the game with a 9-8 overall record and are 6-7 in GSC play. The Warhawks are 5-12 overall and 4-9 in the conference. UWA defeated AUM 74-72 earlier this season in November 2022.
 
Bria Dent averages 17.8 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game, ranking her second in the GSC in scoring and rebounds. Dent also ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage and 11th in steals.
 
Dent moved to fifth nationally in rebounds per game and 46th in points per game. She has recorded 13th double-doubles this season, ranking her third nationally. 
 
Maryanne Logsdon averages 11.3 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game. Logsdon ranks second in the GSC in 3-point field goal percentage and third in 3-point field goals per game. She also ranks 16th in the GSC for scoring and 22nd in assists. 
 
Jala Williams averages 10.2 points per game, six assists per game, five rebounds per game, and 1.8 steals per game. Williams leads the GSC in assists and ranks eighth nationally in assists per game. She also ranks ninth in the GSC in steals.
  
As a unit, UWA averages 60.8 points per game. The Tigers limit their opponent to 56.8 points per game.
 
Allasha Dudley leads the Warhawks with 12.4 points per game and 2.9 rebounds per game. 
 
General admission tickets will be $5 at the entrance or can be purchased ahead of time here. Children five and under will be admitted free.
