LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Women's Soccer team played a 0-0 draw against Valdosta State on Sunday afternoon at Hurricane Field in Americus, Georgia.

Despite an offensive surge that saw the Tigers take 15 shots, including ten on goal, they could not find the back of the net, leaving their record at 1-4-3 overall and 0-2-3 in GSC play. At the same time, Valdosta State will move to 3-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in GSC play.

The Tigers dominated possession throughout the match, with Emily Callahan leading the way with four shots, two of which were on target. Goalkeeper Dior Wilson delivered a solid performance, recording four saves to keep Valdosta State at bay. Meanwhile, Valdosta State's goalkeeper, Claire Timberlake, was equally impressive, making nine saves to deny West Alabama a breakthrough.

The Tigers created several scoring chances in the second half but could not convert, with Valdosta State's defense holding firm. Shayen Graf and Emily Djagbare were both cautioned during the match, and Valdosta State's Jenni McIntosh also received a yellow card. Still, neither side could capitalize on set pieces or corners.
