LIVINGSTON, Ala. – University of West Alabama women's soccer continues its Gulf South Conference road swing Saturday, traveling to Valdosta, Georgia, to take on Valdosta State at 2 p.m. ET.
The Tigers enter the matchup with a 1-4-0 overall record and 0-2-0 mark in GSC play after falling to No. 10 Lee, 6-0, Wednesday evening.
Tigers' Offense
West Alabama has scored two goals through five matches while recording 45 shots and 21 shots on goal.
Allie Kimbrell leads the Tigers with one goal and two points. Kimbrell has appeared in all five matches, making three starts, and has recorded two shots with one on target.
Campbell Wysong has also scored one goal for the Tigers, while Kya Jacobs leads UWA with 12 shots and seven shots on goal. Mikaela Carpino has added seven shots and four shots on goal, while Bailee Fairley has recorded three shots with two on target.
Sofia Jimenez Perez has put both of her shots on goal, while Sofia Lacey has recorded six shots and two shots on target.
Defensive Stand
Yumari Hernandez has started all five matches in goal for the Tigers, playing all 450 minutes. Hernandez has recorded 29 saves and owns a .707 save percentage with a 2.40 goals-against average.
Hernandez has helped UWA record one shutout this season and enters Saturday with a 1-4-0 record in goal.
Scouting Valdosta State
Valdosta State enters Saturday's matchup with a 3-1-1 overall record and a 2-0-0 mark in GSC play.
Sarah Hudson leads the Blazers offensively with four goals and two assists for 10 points. Hudson has recorded 14 shots, including nine shots on goal.
Kyndal Smith has added three goals for six points, while Anna Dandeneau has two goals for four points. Kayleigh Kearns has contributed one goal and two assists for four points.
Kaitlyn Scherer leads the Blazers with three assists, while Faith Espino, Jenni McIntosh and Ameliah Dixon have each scored one goal.
Adrienne Cardona-Colon has started all five matches in goal for Valdosta State, recording 25 saves with a .758 save percentage and 1.62 goals-against average. Cardona-Colon has helped the Blazers to a 3-1-1 record and one shutout.

Saturday marks the 18th meeting between West Alabama and Valdosta State, with the Tigers holding a 7-6-4 advantage in the all-time series.
The Blazers hold a 4-1-2 advantage in matches played in Valdosta, Georgia.
