LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama women's soccer team returns to the road Saturday afternoon when the Tigers travel to face Spring Hill College in Gulf South Conference action at Library Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

West Alabama enters the matchup with a 1-6-0 overall record and a 0-4-0 mark in GSC play. The Tigers are looking to bounce back after a 2-1 home loss to Delta State on Wednesday.

Tigers' Offense

The Tigers have scored three goals through seven matches this season, with Bailee Fairley, Allie Kimbrell and Campbell Wysong each finding the back of the net once.

Fairley leads UWA with 10 shots and five shots on goal, while Kya Jacobs has recorded 13 shots and a team-high eight shots on goal. Mikaela Carpino follows with seven shots and four shots on target.

Tianna Klysh leads the Tigers with one assist, while Fairley has recorded 10 shots and five shots on goal. Overall, UWA has taken 66 shots, placing 30 on target for a .455 shots-on-goal percentage.

Between the Pipes

Yumari Hernandez has started all seven matches in goal for the Tigers, playing all 630 minutes. She has recorded 47 saves with a .758 save percentage and a 2.14 goals-against average.

Hernandez has helped UWA record one shutout this season and enters Saturday's matchup with 131 shots faced.

Scouting Spring Hill

Spring Hill enters Saturday's contest with a 3-3-2 overall record and a 2-1-1 mark in GSC play.

The Badgers have scored nine goals through eight matches, led by Felicia Ajayi with three goals and two assists for eight points. Laura Lillie Sparks has added two goals, while Sofia Jimenez Garcia has one goal and two assists.

Ajayi leads Spring Hill with 13 shots and nine shots on goal, while Madison Hitzman has recorded 12 shots and seven shots on target.

As a team, the Badgers have taken 70 shots and placed 38 on goal for a .543 shots-on-goal percentage.

Ava Bell has started all eight matches in goal for Spring Hill, playing all 720 minutes. She has recorded 42 saves with a .808 save percentage and a 1.25 goals-against average.

Bell has helped the Badgers record two shutouts this season.

Series History

The Tigers lead the all-time series against Spring Hill, 8-1-2. The teams played to a 1-1 draw in last year's meeting in Livingston.

West Alabama is 4-1-1 all-time in matches played in Mobile, although Spring Hill earned a 4-0 victory the last time the Tigers visited the Badgers.

Saturday's matchup marks another GSC road test for the Tigers as they look to get back into the win column.
