Biography

2021 (Senior): Played in 34 games, starting in 28 ... Led the team with a .374 batting average with 37 hits in 99 at-bats, had 27 runs scored 3 home runs and 14 RBIs ... Posted a .984 fielding percentage with 56 putouts in 61 chances ... Went 4-4 and scored 3 times in a game against Montevallo on April 3 ... Named to the 2021 All-GSC Second team ... Also named to the 2021 GSC Spring All-Academic Honor roll.

2020 (Junior): Appeared in 22 games and started in 19 this season. Had 58 at-bats while adding four putouts February 2 against West Florida.

Prior to UWA: Spent two seasons with NAIA Lindsey Wilson College located in Columbia, Kentucky… Posted .396 batting average and a .540 slugging percentage with 130 hits, 83 runs, 69 RBIs, 20 doubles, six homers and six triples as well as 27 stolen bases and seven walks in 106 games… Defensively posted .965 fielding percentage with 131 putouts and six assists… During sophomore year, team finished with a 52-5 record and reached the NAIA World Series where Matlock was named to the All-Tournament team… Named First Team All-Mid South Conference, won an Outfield Gold Glove and was named Player of the Week on April 22, 2019… During her freshman season, the outfielder was named Second Team All-Conference and Co-Freshman of the Year.
 
High School: Graduated from Archbishop O’Leary High School in Edmonton, Alberta in 2017.
