(2011-12): Compiled a 6-2 overall record in singles during his redshirt senior season ... Won four out of the five doubles matches he played in.
(2010-11): Won every match he played in, going 4-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles.
(2009-10): Posted a 9-1 record in singles competition … Scored an 8-0 win in first contest of the season against Division I opponent Alabama A&M on April 9.
Prior to UWA: Member of the United States Tennis Association … Member of the Hueytown High School Tennis Team, where he was awarded the Most Improved player at Hueytown … Was a second round contender his senior year in the Alabama State High School District 5 Sectional Tournament. Wes is also a member of the UWA football team and was side-lined by a rotator cuff injury in the fall of 2009 after undergoing surgery.
