Biography

2017 (Junior): Started in 51 of 52 games...Led the Tigers in every major offensive category including hits Led the team in hits (59), runs (45), doubles (12), triples (1), home runs (12), RBIs (37), total bases (115) and walks (35) while posting a slugging percentage of .757 and on-base percentage .516 and a batting average of .388 in 152-bats ... Posted a single game high of two home runs and four RBIs against Mississippi Valley College on March 14, 2017 ... The stalwart at first base recorded 312 putouts and 13 assists with a .988 fielding percentage ... Named First-Team All-Conference ... 2a017 GSC FireSeeds Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2016 (Sophomore): Only Tiger to start all 49 games ... Led the team in hits (48), runs (29), doubles (11), triples (2), home runs (9), RBIs (37), total bases (90), walks (27), slugging percentage (.657) and on-base percentage (.461) with 137 at-bats and .350 batting average ... Single game high of two homers and six RBIs against Tuskegee on Feb. 10, 2016 ... At first base, Diekmann recorded 348 putouts and 12 assists with a .976 fielding percentage.

2015 (Freshman):  Started in 45 of 45 games … Totaled 132 at-bats, 23 runs, 30 hits, five doubles, one triple, two home runs and 18 RBI … Hit .227 with .326 slugging percentage … The first baseman led the team with 358 putouts and fielding nine double plays … Named Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week on Feb. 17, 2015 with a homerun, double and four RBI through five games. She went 7-for-17 (.412) from the plate and scored eight runs … Single game high of three runs, four RBI, four hits and five at-bats came against Delta State on Feb. 14, 2015.  

High School: Helped Niceville High School to the 2013 District Championship … Named to the 6A All-Florida High School first team, All-District first team and Okaloosa County Hitter of the Year by Northwest Florida Daily News after recording a .500 batting average for the 2013 season.
