2014 (Junior): Started in all 47 games she appeared in … Compiled a .289 average (41-for-142) with 19 runs, 19 RBI, five doubles, one homerun and tied with Lydia North for the teams most triples with two … At shortstop she had 56 putouts and 78 assists for .918 fielding percentage.  

Prior to UWA: Chavez played at San Jose City College for the 2011 and 2013 seasons, having set out 2012 due to injury … She was named to the All-Coast Conference first team for the 2013 season … She posted a .453 batting average, led the team with 10 doubles and finished third with 58 hits … She totaled 49 runs and 12 home runs in her two seasons with 38 runs and 10 home runs in 2013 … In 2011 she recorded a .391 batting average and a .563 slugging percentage.
