2015: First triathlon signee in UWA history ... Competed in four triathlons last fall ... Finished 42nd overall and second in her age group at the Coastal Tri-It-On ... Finished 20th overall and second in her age group at the R.A.C.E. Rome Spring Triathlon ... Finished 26th and second at the Meat Pie ... Did not finish at Collegiate Nationals.

High School: Wakeland (Texas) High School ... Primarily a swimmer, Bergmann won the Texas Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association Award ... All-State honorable mention in 2015 ... All-State honorable mention in 2014 as the anchor leg of the 200 freestyle relay ... Also had two years of club swimming experience with Frisco Aquatics ... Three-time Texas Summer Games qualifier ... Also competed in track and field and volleyball while at Wakeland.
 
Bergmann was a Texas regional individual and relay qualifier in each of her four years at Wakeland High School. She was a member of the state swim team relay for two years. Her primary events included the 100 breast, 50 free, 100 free and the 200 free relay.
