University of West Alabama

Dr. Christopher Adams is originally from London, KY, and is beginning his first year with the University of West Alabama Sports Medicine staff.  He earned his undergraduate and masters degree from the University of Kentucky and his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University.  He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga.

Dr. Adams is currently training as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellow at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham under the leadership of Dr. Jose Ortega.  Outside of medicine, he enjoys golfing, lifting, tennis, reading and following football/baseball.
