At Middle Tennessee, Co-Special Teams Coordinator, 2025
• Helped lead MTSU Special Teams to the best cumulative ranking in CUSA. Net Punt (4th), Punt Return Yards Gained (5th), Kickoff Return Defense (1st), Kickoff Return Average (4th), FG% (2nd) and led the nation for Punts inside the 20 (30).
• Helped lead MTSU Kickoff Return Defense to rank 18th in the nation allowing just 16.7 ypr and 1 of only 10 teams in the country to defend 10+ kicks not allowing a return greater than 25 yards all season.
• Helped lead MTSU Punt Return Defense to rank 2nd in CUSA allowing just 30 Punt Return yards to conference opponents. (Best at MTSU since 2017)
• Coached 1st year starting Punter Ashton Logan to All-CUSA 2nd Team honors, the 2nd best Punt Avg in MTSU history, and 19 punts of 50+ yards.
• Coached 1st year starting placekicker Jacob Hathaway to All-CUSA 2nd Team honors as he led CUSA in FG% (78.6%).
• Coached true Freshman Kickoff Specialist Baylen Woodman to All-CUSA Freshman Team honors as he kicked 57% touchbacks.
• Coached 7th round NFL Draft Pick and Special Teams standout Parker Hughes.
At Middle Tennessee, Special Teams Quality Control, 2024
• Helped lead MTSU to a No. 22 national Special Teams Efficiency ranking by ESPN while also helping them garner the No. 8 most improved Special Teams unit in the country.
• Coached true Freshman Honorable Mention All-CUSA Punter Grant Chadwick who averaged 43.4 yards a punt and had 13 punts of over 50 yards.
• Coached 1st Team All-CUSA Long Snapper Brody Butler and 2nd Team All-CUSA Punt Returner Omari Kelly.
At Louisiana, Special Teams Graduate Assistant, 2021-23
• In 2023, helped lead Louisiana to rank 2nd in the nation/1st in SBC in Punt Return Defense (-4 yds allowed), 1st in the SBC in KOR Defense (16.6 ypr), 1st in Net Punt (39.6), and 2nd in FG% (87.5%).
• Coached Zylan Perry who led the nation in KOR yards (862).
• Coached placekicker Kenny Almendares for 3 seasons who finished 2023 second in the SBC and 13th nationally in FG% (87.5%). Helping guide Almendares to eventually win the Lou Groza award.
• Coached eventual PFF Special Teams All-American Dalen Cambre for 3 seasons. During which Cambre blocked 2 punts and returned a punt for a TD.
• In 2022, helped lead Louisiana to a program record, 9th in the nation Cumulative Special Teams ranking. Louisiana led the nation in Punt Return yards gained (442) and TD’s (2) with the 7th best national Punt Return avg (16.4). Kick Return Defense ranked 1st in SBC/ 8th in FBS (15.8 ypr). 5 Blocked Kicks and 2 Blocked Punts also led the SBC.
• Coached 2nd Team All-American Punt Returner Eric Garror and 1st Team All-Conference Punter Rhys Byrns.
• In 2021, Louisiana finished with a No. 16 final AP ranking, had the nation’s longest winning streak (13) and was the Sun Belt Conference and New Orleans Bowl Champions.
• Helped lead Louisiana to rank 9th in the nation in Net Punt (43.1), 10th in Kicks Blocked (4), and 16th in Kickoff Return Defense (17.6 ypr).
• Coached 4th round NFL Draft Pick and Special Teams standout Percy Butler and 1st Team All-Conference Punter Rhys Byrns.
