West Alabama pitcher Barry Meeks guided the Tiger baseball team to a series-opening win against West Georgia on Saturday. Meeks tossed 102 pitches in the contest and threw eight and two-thirds innings in the game. The Sweet Water, Ala., native finished with four strikeouts and allowed only one run on five hits.
