West Alabama sophomore Tori Brook was named Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Defender of the Week on Tuesday. Brook is the second Tiger to earn the honor this season. Brook, a native of Leeds, England, led the West Alabama defense to two shutout victories this week, marking its third straight. The Tigers held opponents to a combined five shots; three on-goal.
