Nestor Vargas has been named to the 2014 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II All-America Team as a singles player. To be eligible for the honor, players must finish in the top 20 of the final ITA College Tennis Rankings in singles or the top 10 in doubles. From Bogota, Colombia, Vargas finished the season 23-3 in singles play, 22-4 in doubles. He was also selected by league coaches to the 2014 First-Team All-GSC men's tennis team, marking the second straight year being named as all-conference.
