Saturday will also see UWA playing two matches as the Red and White opens the day with an 11:30 a.m. showdown with Eckerd College and then wraps up the weekend with a 5:30 p.m. match against Wilmington University.
The matches against Florida Tech and Eckerd are NCAA South Region contests.
The team is coming off of its best season since 1996 after compiling a 30-8 record a year ago en route to winning a share of the 2009 Gulf South Conference East Division championship.
Head Coach Tabitha Turner returns four players from last year's group including preseason all-conference selection Thais Hollerbach and Alexis McHale – an all-GSC selection a year ago. Turner has also sprinkled in several newcomers that will be expected to contribute immediately.
